Customer Care
Warranty
Every MODA piece is made to be lived with for years. Our furniture is backed by warranty against manufacturing defects, and if something isn't right, you come straight to us — we'll take care of it.
Your cover, and your rights
Always in addition to your consumer rights
These warranties sit on top of your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act — they never replace or limit them. Whatever the issue, you deal with MODA directly; there's no need to chase anyone else. We assess every claim and put it right with a repair, replacement or refund, depending on the fault.

A note on foam. New foam settles and softens as it's broken in — it's normal for cushions to lose around 15–20% of their initial firmness with early use, and gentle body impressions are part of this. This natural settling is expected and isn't a fault; foam is covered for genuine manufacturing defects within its warranty period.
What's covered
Manufacturing defects
Your warranty covers genuine faults in materials and workmanship that appear in the course of normal household use. Where a defect is confirmed, we'll repair or replace the piece — or refund it — as appropriate. Proof of purchase is required for every claim.
What's not covered
Wear, misuse & the everyday
- Normal wear and tear over time
- Misuse, accidental damage, or improper care
- Unauthorised repairs or modifications
- Natural variation in timber grain, leather markings and fabric — a feature of real materials, not a fault
- Commercial or non-household use
We may substitute an equivalent material or component where an original is no longer available. Any repair or replacement is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period, not a new one.
For beds & mattresses
Getting the most from your sleep set
Mattresses are a little different to the rest of the home. A few simple things keep yours performing — and keep your warranty valid.
Settling in
Comfort & the wear-in period
- Allow up to 30 days for your body to adjust to a new mattress.
- Gentle body impressions are normal — they show the comfort layers conforming to you, not a fault.
- Comfort and firmness preference isn't covered by warranty, so please choose carefully — our team is happy to help before you buy.
- Indentations up to around 35mm are a normal part of this; deeper, lasting sagging not caused by an unsuitable base may be assessed as a defect.
Keeping your warranty valid
Care & support
- Use a firm, flat, supportive base. An unsuitable or sagging base (for example, widely spaced or flexible slats) can affect performance and isn't covered.
- Rotate your mattress regularly to even out wear.
- Use a mattress protector — stains, burns, liquid damage and unhygienic condition aren't covered.
- Please don't remove the care or law label — it's your proof and traceability.
- Warranty applies to the original purchaser, with proof of purchase.
