The design
The one on the timber base
Where most sofas sit down into a room, the Phantom stands lightly above it — a continuous timber plinth that lifts the whole piece and lets the floor run beneath. Advance comfort seats and Fine fitted backs do the real work; the base does the talking. Choose the timber in six stains, or swap to metal legs in Chrome, Gunmetal or Matt Black.

Build your Phantom
Each shape is drawn to scale. Every size comes with two arms or one arm — one-arm pieces pair with the built-on corner to wrap a room. All sizes sit on the Phantom’s signature timber base.
In a square corner setting the corner is built on to the smaller piece as standard.
Cushion tops are 450mm high, plain tops 400mm.
Made as one suite in a single fabric — the shape that turns a Phantom into a whole corner.

Care for a lifetime of comfort
A hand-crafted sofa is built to last decades — and a few small habits keep it looking and feeling its best. Here's what we recommend.
Everyday care
Keep your sofa out of direct sunlight and away from heaters — strong sun and heat age fabric and leather before their time. When you need to move it, lift rather than drag, so the legs stay true. Sofas are made for sitting: arms and backs aren't built to carry weight, so keep feet, perching and climbing (small people included) to the seats. If anything ever seems wrong, get in touch with us straight away — continuing to use a damaged piece can void the warranty, and small fixes are almost always easier early.
Fabric
Vacuum weekly with a soft brush head — dust is abrasive, and it gathers in seams, folds and under cushions. Spills: act fast, and always dab rather than rub, which drives the mark into the fibres. For anything beyond a light clean, a certified fabric cleaning specialist is the safe route; if you clean it yourself, follow the care label on your suite so the warranty stays intact. A quality fabric protector makes life easier and arm covers extend the life of the highest-wear spots. Two small things worth knowing: trim any loose thread with scissors rather than pulling it, and take care with new dark jeans on light fabrics — clothing dyes can transfer.
Cushions
Foam softens 10–15% over the first six months — that's the sofa settling in, not wearing out. New cushions can look slightly domed at first; they relax with use. To keep everything at its best: plump seat and back cushions weekly, pressing firmly at the edges to get air back between the fibres. For back cushions, open the zip, flip the cushion so the zip sits at the bottom, and give it a vigorous side-to-side shake. Swap and turn reversible cushions regularly so they wear evenly. A few minutes a week keeps the loft and comfort you fell for on day one.
Leather
Leather is a natural material — grain variation, growth lines and stretch marks are what set it apart from imitations. It will form soft comfort creases early on (called puddling); this settles and is completely normal. Wipe leather down weekly with a damp cloth using water only, especially between folds. Body oils, hair products, sunscreen and clothing dyes are leather's main enemies — regular wiping keeps them at bay. Never use household cleaners; only specialist leather care products.
