Matariki 2026 · The Māori New Year
Where the year begins.
The Matariki Edit
Where we gather
Matariki — the Māori New Year — is a time to gather with the people we love, reflect on the year behind us, and look to the one ahead. At MODA Furnitures, we make the rooms where that happens.
Our Matariki Edit brings together New Zealand–made sofas built to order, warm-timber dining made for sharing kai, and the rugs, lamps and finishing pieces that bring winter warmth to your home. Visit our Auckland showroom in Ōtāhuhu to see and feel the craft in person.
